GLOSSARY

Outfitted Trip: River trip purchased from a licensed outfitter who provides guides and equipment.

Permit Holder: Person who has secured the permit to float the river. The permit holder is on a private trip and must be present at the put-in.

Private Trip: River trips organized by a group of individuals who have secured their own permit(s) as required.

Put-in: Place where your river trip actually starts.

Shuttle: Driving a vehicle from one location to another.

Take-out: Place where your river trip ends.
